What is a career workshop for teens?

The teenage years can be a stressful and important time in a person’s development.  As teens begin to plan for their future, they often find themselves overwhelmed and confused. Parents may also be limited in their ability to help their teens in this stage. They may not know how to guide them or have the best resources to support them.   That’s where we can help!

This career workshop will be a useful tool to help teens understand how their personality, interests, and values can come together to suggest possible college majors and career paths.  The workshop will include:

      • Individualized assessments and written feedback and results, including:
      • A strong focus on understanding this information and using it to help make decisions about the future.
      • Personalized recommendations that can help you:
        • Identify career options consistent with your personality and interests
        • Choose appropriate education relevant to your interests
        • Identify career paths consistent with your values
        • Determine your preferred learning environments
        • Decide on a focus for the future
      • In-depth discussions on college majors and career options
      • Opportunities to connect with like-minded peers
      • An introduction to online tools to explore different career paths
      • Facilitation and mentorship from experienced career professionals
